I'm Mike, an experienced guitarist and vocalist based in Essex, playing everything from intimate restaurant settings to lively beer festivals.
 

My setlist spans the 1960s to today, pulling from a genuinely wide range of influences — pop, folk, Irish, Scottish, country, soul, reggae and more. That mix means a typical set moves between laid-back crowd-pleasers, pub singalongs, and songs that get people up and dancing. It's not unusual to hear "I wasn't expecting that!" partway through a gig — and it's exactly why I love doing this solo.

I read the room and shape the set to match — whether that's relaxed background music or building energy through the night — and I always keep the volume sensible for the space. It's just me and a guitar for around 99% of what I play, with the occasional backing tracks if a song calls for it.
 

With a song list running into the hundreds, I can comfortably fill up to 3 hours, with a couple of short breaks along the way.
 

I bring my own equipment, adapt easily to any venue, and pride myself on being professional, punctual, and easy to work with — friendly with guests, respectful of staff, and reliable from booking to last song.
